With KATHY RUGH
Who should take this class?
Intermediate shooters with an interest in exploring creative night photography and low-light photography
What you will learn
When darkness falls, you don’t have to put your camera away and go home. In fact, some of our favorite artists have exploited the otherwordly look of night photography and so can you. In this workshop, you’ll make fast friends with your tripod and the B (bulb) setting on your camera, pushing your idea of “available light” to its limits. After learning basic tips on the right settings to use when shooting in low light, you'll get out and shoot under the stars in DUMBO.
What to bring
You DSLR camera and tripod is necessary. A remote shutter release or cable release is optional and encouraged.
Prerequisites
