This collaboration with UrbanGlass is a one-shot live tutorial and shooting workshop that focuses on getting better photographs of glass objects using accessible equipment like camera phones, DIY lighting and basic backdrops. Due to glass’ reflectivity and varying levels of transparency, it can often be a difficult subject to photograph well. Through an overview of creative lighting techniques, strategic studio setups and enhanced smartphone operation, we’ll help you improve your skills so you can be more confident photographing your own glass works and update your portfolio with professional-looking images.   The goal by class end is to create a small “lookbook” of some of your favorite pieces which can be used to promote your work via online selling sites or social media.
