Photo Café: What is Street Photography?

What is street photography? Does it require you to be on the street? Or is it an exploration of urban space?  Is it documentary or narrative?  What are the rules if any? This conversation will be joined by contemporary street photographers who will answer these questions and show us what street photography looks like through their eyes today.

Photo Café: talks on photography is a conversation series about photography with industry professionals. We’ve covered topics such as analog photography, education, getting your work seen, and opportunity while also digging deeper to address the impact of systemic inequality. 

Photo Café is a community program open to everyone. We encourage our audience to ask questions, network, and join us in our conversations to create better industry standards for everyone. 

Photo Café is a SeeC x BKC Production; Seeing Collective (SeeC) and BKC, a community-focused photography and creative education center, partnered to host this public programming.
