HAVE A GR8 SUMMER & BKC PRESENT

Analog Retreats!
Summer 2017

Last Summer was glorious.  Soaked in sun and nature, living carefree, and taking photos on film cameras... what could be better?

We thought about it, and the answer is:  MORE TRIPS!

So we've put the Analog Retreats on the schedule starting Memorial Day Weekend.   We'll be going to seek solace from Urban Overkill, shutting down our devices, and living in the moment.  We'll talk and shoot old-school film photography, jump into some swimming holes, cook under the stars, and together we'll create a zine and photo show at the end of Summer.  Interested?  Read on.

BOOKING:  Since space is limited, all booking is first-come, first-served.  Reserving your spot requires a non-refundable Activity Fee, which will be both your deposit to reserve a space and will be applied towards all planning costs.

EARLY BIRD PRICING:  Book before 6/1 and save $25 off the Activity Fee (only $35 instead of normal $60)

TRANSPORTATION:  Our van can accommodate up to 4 additional attendees and 1 additional pet, and can be paid separately from the Activity Fee.  Seats are available first-come, first-served and can be requested at booking.   If the van is full or you require your own transportation, we will help you coordinate with other attendees to help bring down the shared cost of car rental or other transport methods.

CAMPING NOTES:

For car camping trips, we'll be packing a large 6-8 person tent you can share if you don't have your own tent.  We'll have coolers and a grille top and there's generally clean available.

For back-country trips you'll need to pack your own tent.  We'll hike with all our things up to 2-3 miles a day so pack as light as you can!  Dried foods, dehydrated meals, and other non-perishables (like rice, pasta, beans, etc) are recommended.

For all trips please bring your own sleeping bag, water bottles, basic toiletries, swimsuit, rain gear and good hiking shoes or boots.

Slide Mountain, the tallest peak in all of the Catskills, inspired poet and naturalist John Burroughs to write; "Here the works of man dwindle, in the heart of the southern Catskills."
