BKC PORTRAIT PROJECT

BKC is a community of photographers, educators and students and we are always looking for ways to give back to the community and neighborhood that supports us. So we decided to band together and bring free, pop-up family portrait booths to local events, community centers and grassroots organizations in need of a little extra love. Our volunteers donate their time and experience to commemorate togetherness and give the gift of photography to communities of all kinds.
You can support you community too! Contact a neighborhood school, charity, community center or non-profit org and volunteer to take portraits at a local event or fundraiser. We had a small printer on site, but you can also post download links to the images as we have down below. Think of how many ways someone could benefit from having a well-photographed portrait!
