Transience
'Transience' is a photo series that studies the intermix between infinitesimal and infinite, ancient and modern: human and nature. The photo series aims to pose various philosophical questions to the viewer, such as: 'What is our relationship to the land around us?' 'How do we make sense of our place in the world?' and 'How do we cope with our smallness?' The photo series also aims to visually represent the concept of 'Tao' - the ancient Asian term for the transcendent energy that surrounds all of us.

Kesi is a freelance photographer who enjoys creating and consuming all forms of art from all over the world. She would describe her photographic style as nostalgic and embodying an aura of tranquility. Kesi studies psychology and philosophy at CSULA and is passionate about exploring these topics in her creative endeavors.
