About Textli
Textli Gallegos is an Indigenous Xicana artist based in Los Angeles. Her main focuses are photography and filmmaking, but she has grown up performing with a a poetry and singing group called, In Lak Ech. Through sharing her own experiences with mental health and identity, her goal is to highlight stories that are not often told in mainstream media in hopes that it will bring communities together.
